Ursula Krinzinger is owner and director of Galerie Krinzinger, founded in 1971. Since then the gallery has organized at least 400 exhibitions of national and international artists including solo, group and thematic shows. The main interest and source of the gallery programme stems on international performance and body-related art. Furthermore, the gallery has been working with young national and international artists such as Marina Abramovic, Kader Attia, Chris Burden, Martha Jungwirth, Brigitte Kowanz, Hans Op de Beeck, Gavin Turk, Erik van Lieshout etc. Housed in a separate building, Krinzinger Projekte joins Galerie Krinzinger, inviting artists to take part in the gallery´s artist-in-residence programme—with artists such as Secundino Hernandez, Radhika Khimji, Waqas Khan, among others—which currently includes destinations in Austria, Hungary, Sri Lanka and Croatia.
