Alexander Forbes is the associate director of corporate development and market intelligence at Artsy, the leading global marketplace for discovering and collecting art. Alexander works cross-functionally across the Artsy organization to provide market and industry intelligence, advise on company strategy and key internal initiatives, and grow the company through partnerships and acquisitions. Alexander was previously the Executive Editor of Artsy Editorial, which he grew to become the most-read art publication online.
Before joining Artsy, Alexander served as the European Market Editor while based in Berlin for artnet News, and as the Bureau Chief for Louise Blouin Media in German-speaking Europe. He has contributed to and had research featured in numerous international art and business publications.
