Anna Manubens
Anna Manubens is director at Hangar, a centre for artistic research and production in Barcelona. Among Hangar’s current action strands there is InfraMaintenance, a framework exploring infrastructural modes of governance; Practicable a programme expanding the notion of “research” at the intersection between performance and open source; AudioFormal dedicated to the politics of listening; and a critical approach to the triangle art-science-technology in order to think about sustainability or accessibility from other perspectives.
Until 2017 she was Head of Public Programs at the CAPC, contemporary art museum of Bordeaux (FR). Previously, she was an independent curator and producer with a preference for hybrid roles at the intersection between writing, research, programming, institutional analysis and curating. Her activity has been always combined with teaching and among others, she was professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
