He has held several solo exhibitions in Spain and abroad, including those at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, (Spain, 2002), the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona (Spain, 2005), the Fundación Serralves, Oporto (Portugal, 2006), the IKON Gallery in Birmingham (United Kingdom, 2006), the ZKM in Karlsruhe (Germany, 2006), the Pinacoteca do Estado de Sao Paulo, (Brazil, 2010), the Museo Artium in Vitoria (2012), the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid (2015), the Fundación Miró in Barcelona (Spain, 2016), the Museo de Arte de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá, (Colombia, 2017), the Meadows Museum, Dallas, (USA, 2022) and the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, Sevilla (Spain, 2024). He has exhibited on several occasions at the Estrany de la Mota galleries in Barcelona, ​​Elba Benítez in Madrid and Meessen in Brussels. He has also recently exhibited at the galleries Proyecto Paralelo (Mexico City, Mexico), Vera Cortês (Lisbon, Portugal), Nordenhake (Berlin, Germany), Martine Aboucaya (Paris, France), and nächst St.Stephan Rosemarie Schwarzwälder (Vienna, Austria).

In 2022, he represented the Spanish Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale with the project “Correction.”

In 2015 he received the V Joan Miró Prize.
