Pau Escat is the founder and director of Escat Gallery, a contemporary art gallery based in Barcelona. The project originated during the pandemic and has since evolved into an international programme focused on emerging and mid-career artists, building relationships with collectors across Europe, the United States and beyond. Today, Escat Gallery operates two complementary spaces: its central exhibition space on Trafalgar Street in Barcelona and Escat Projects in L’Hospitalet, dedicated to more experimental projects and emerging artistic practices. Alongside its physical programme, the gallery has developed a strong international digital strategy, using online platforms and digital tools to reach new audiences, cultivate relationships with collectors worldwide and expand its international presence.
