Sergio Sancho García
Director and founder of the art fair UVTN Art Fair and Contemporaray Art Now (CAN) in Ibiza. Since 2017 founder of Urvanity Projects, a cultural content platform to serve public and private institutions.
He began his professional career in the advertising sector to which he was linked for more than 15 years. During this period he was on the management committee of one of the first independent Spanish agencies and was closely linked to cultural sponsorship. In 2016 he decided to create a contemporary art fair with a strong focus on urban culture UVNT Art Fair and a year later he created Urvanity Projects. In 2020 he creates another art division Urvanity Lab as a creation laboratory where the work of art is taken to its limit between object and design. In 2021 he created CAN ART in Ibiza.
He is currently patron of the MER Collection in Segovia and advises a number of private collections. He has taught on the Barreira master’s degree in the art market, on the art market course at the Pons Foundation and at the Istituto Europeo di Design.
