Elena Soboleva is a leader at the intersection of culture and technology, shaping the evolution of the art market for over a decade. At David Zwirner Gallery, she founded the Online Sales team in an industry-first role and spearheaded digital initiatives that expanded the gallery’s global reach and developed one of its largest new collector bases. She oversaw more than 200 projects with artists including Kerry James Marshall, Yayoi Kusama, and Jeff Koons. Previously, she was an early employee at Artsy, where she launched Artsy Projects and curated major partnerships with Gucci, Dior, UBS, Microsoft, and Snapchat, bringing leading contemporary artists into public commissions and hybrid formats. Elena also advised the Groeninghe Art Collection in Bruges and co-founded The Embassy in Brussels, a private space for conceptual art and dialogue. Her work centers on cultivating audiences and charting new frontiers for cultural growth.
