Nathalie Vallois-Low

After studying law and art history, Nathalie Vallois interned at a Parisian auction house for one year and then for another year with a contemporary art expert. She then became the director of a gallery specializing in limited editions of contemporary art. In 1990, Georges-Philippe Vallois and Nathalie Vallois, both 26 years old, opened their own gallery in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, specialized in contemporary art with a focus on the French movement « Nouveau Réalisme ». Between 1999 and 2005, Nathalie Vallois was member of the FIAC Paris Art Fair Committee. She contributed to the creation of the partnership between the Fondation d’Entreprise Ricard, FIAC, Beaux-Arts Magazine and the Centre Georges Pompidou, to organise the “Prix Ricard” that still takes place every year since 1999. The Georges-Philippe and Nathalie Vallois gallery opened a second space in Paris last year and participates to major international fairs such as Art Basel (Basel), Armory Show (NYC) or Fiac (Paris).
