Daniel G. Andújar

Daniel G. Andújar (Almoradí, Alicante, 1966) is a visual artist, theorist, and activist based in Barcelona. A key figure in Net.art, founder of Technologies To The People® and historical member of irational.org, his nearly 40-year career explores the intersections of postcapitalism, technology, and control. His practice combines public space interventions, strategies of appropriation, and a critical use of digital media to reveal the inequalities and power structures of contemporary society. He has exhibited internationally at documenta14 (Athens/Kassel), the 53rd Venice Biennale, and Manifesta 4, among many others, and in 2015 the Museo Reina Sofía hosted a major retrospective curated by Manuel Borja-Villel.
