Luz Broto
Back to the 2025 programme

Luz Broto (b. 1982, Spain) is a site-specific artist whose work examines the implicit rules, uses, and relations inscribed in spaces. Through minimal interventions, she activates subtle transformations that question established protocols and open new forms of inhabiting architecture, institutions, and the social sphere. Her projects have been presented internationally, including at Manifesta 14 (Prishtina), Secession (Vienna), MACBA (Barcelona) and CA2M (Madrid). She currently teaches at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona and at BAU, where she is part of the Doctoral Program in Design and Communication.
