Rebecca Blanchard
Back to the 2025 programme

Rebeca Blanchard holds a degree in Art History from University College London. She worked in the curatorial departments of the MoMA and the Guggenheim in New York between 2002 and 2003, before founding NoguerasBlanchard in Barcelona with her partner Àlex Nogueras in 2004. Since then, the gallery has developed an international and interdisciplinary program, reflecting a variety of conceptually driven positions and practices. In 2024, it partnered with the Joan Prats gallery to form Prats Nogueras Blanchard, with locations in Madrid and Barcelona. Combining the trajectory of both galleries, the program seeks to foster dialogue between established and emerging artists, presenting works from different periods and contexts, with a special focus on the Mediterranean and Latin America. The gallery participates in leading international fairs, including Art Basel Paris, ARCOmadrid, and Art Basel Basel. Rebeca served on the ARCO selection committee from 2010 to 2014 and, since 2012, has lived between Madrid and Barcelona to direct the gallery’s Madrid location.
